Fleetwood RV Recall - Latest Info

Fleetwood RV Inc. recently announced a recall of their 2011 Terra Class A motor homes that have production dates of June 6, 2010 through October 4, 2010. The recall was issued because the high and low beam headlight housings are not in the proper position as outlined in the Federal Motor Vehicle Safety Standards. Poor positioning of headlights can result in glare on the highway that poses a very serious risk to drivers.

Owners of these RVs are asked to contact their local Fleetwood dealer to arrange a time to have the headlight units entirely replaced to the specifications of the Federal Motor Vehicle Safety Standards. The replacement of these items will be at no cost to the consumer.

84 Fleetwood RVs are affected by this recall.

Affected Fleetwood RV owners are advised to contact Fleetwood RV Inc. during regular business hours at 1-800-509-3418 for more information on the details of replacing the headlight units.

Also, Fleetwood RV owners can contact the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration’s Vehicle Safety Hotline at 1-888-327-4236.
