Jaguar XJ Recall - Latest Info

Jaguar Land Rover North America, LLC. recently announced a vehicle recall of its XJ models built between July 28, 2009 and November3, 2010 due to the front windshield wiper arms not being secured properly as per the manufacturer’s specifications. The problem is the wipers could come loose and separate from the XJ models heightening the risk of an accident.

More than 6470 vehicles are affected by this recall.

Owners are advised to contact their local Jaguar dealer to arrange for an inspection of the wiper arms and for the proper tightening to be performed. The inspection and any subsequent work will be done at no cost to the consumer. The safety recall is scheduled to begin no later than December 13, 2010.
