EL AL, the national airline of Israel, is now offering another promotion with excellent savings for its most dedicated customers who are members of the award winning frequent flyer club called Matmid. The current offer allows Matmid members traveling to Israel between January 3 and March 31, 2011 to purchase a roundtrip ticket to Israel on nonstop flights for $899 plus 100 points from New York (JFK/Newark). Matmid members from the Los Angeles area can fly to Israel on the only nonstop flights from the West Coast for a roundtrip fare of $1049 plus 100 points. The fuel surcharge and airport taxes are included in these fares so there are no additional fees.
EL AL passengers wishing to transfer Matmid points to any account and/or upgrade from economy or business class by combining money and points can do so through December 31st as these promotions have been extended.
