Mortgage Lender Quicken Loans and One Reverse Mortgage Moves to Downtown Detroit

Quicken Loans’ staff has just moved into their brand new headquarters, together with their colleagues from their sister companies, Fathead LLC, One Reverse Mortgage LLC, In-House Realty LLC and Quizzle LLC. Their new headquarters are located in the Compuware building, on the North edge of Campus Martius, in Detroit’s emerging technology district recently tagged “WEBward Avenue”. The Compuware Building is now ‘home’ to around 4000 technology and web-based workers, following the influx of the staff of Quicken Loans and its sister companies, who number around 1700.

Dan Gilbert, Founder and Chairman of Quicken Loans, could barely contain his excitement at this move and said, “Words do not express the excitement we all feel about moving to downtown Detroit. Detroit is in the infancy stage of becoming a hotbed of new economy technology, Internet and entertainment-based entrepreneurial growth companies. Downtown is beginning to become a live, work and play urban core that young people coming out of our great universities, and others across the country and world, will be highly attracted to for the incredible opportunity, jobs and growth happening here.
