LA Fitness Announces Opening Of New Club
LA Fitness® is pleased to announce the opening of its newest sports club, a 45,000 square foot facility in Leesburg, VA. The club is located at the intersection of River Creek Pkwy/Cross Trail Blvd and Harry Byrd Hwy Route 7. The club address is 1490 Classic Path Way SE. A grand opening party is scheduled for early 2011.
“Our new Leesburg location seven miles further out Rte 7 than our Sterling Club provides shorter driving distances and convenient access for our current members and of course all the residents living in the eastern and northern portions of Loudoun County.” said Louis Welch, CEO of LA Fitness. The new state-of-the-art sports club expects to employ 50 people ranging from part-time group fitness instructors to full-time club staff. The club features full court basketball, 3 racquetball courts, a 25 yard three lane lap pool, a whirlpool spa and spacious locker rooms with showers and saunas, as well as a separate group exercise studio. These amenities complement a full array of equipment, including over 75 pieces of the latest generation cardio equipment with individual viewing screens, selectorized circuit training, and free weight areas. Members can participate in a variety of group fitness classes seven days a week including aqua, indoor cycling, dance classes, pilates and yoga at no additional charge, and many find that they enjoy group classes not only for the fitness benefit they provide but also as a means for social connection. Personal training, league play, and babysitting services are also available.
