Bad Credit Loans - Ways to Work Receives New Funds For Loans

Ways to Work Inc., a non-profit, federally certified, Community Development Financial Institution (CDFI) that provides short-term, low-interest loans to low income families with challenging credit histories, has been awarded $750,000 from the U.S. Department of the Treasury’s CDFI Fund. This $750,000 award is one of a total of 180 awards given to financial institutions across the nation from the CDFI Fund, which awarded a total of $104.8 million to help financial institutions to support local entrepreneurs, small businesses and low income families in their quests to overcoming the various economic barriers to success.

Ways to Work is also a recent recipient of a $2 million grant from the Walmart Foundation, and the funds thus received by Ways to Work will enable it to provide even more affordable loans to low income families. Ways to Work has recently opened 9 new offices in communities across the US, and plans to expand even further, and increase its ability to reach out to and help low income families.
