Christmas Shopping Deals - Wal-Mart Announces Details Of “The Amazing Walmart Electronics Event”

Wal-Mart Stores, Inc. (NYSE:WMT) recently announced details of “The Amazing Walmart Electronics Event” which will allow its customers to make great savings on popular electronic items such as Vizio HDTVs, Compaq laptops and Sony PlayStation 3s. This special offer event will take place at all Walmart stores, as well as at Walmart.com.

The promotion is understood to have been launched in response to predictions made by the Consumer Electronics Association, which indicate that consumers will spend more money on electronic items this season than ever before, and that a significant number of consumers will be doing their Christmas shopping in November.

Gary Severson, the Senior Vice President of Entertainment at Walmart issued the following statement regarding the upcoming “Amazing Walmart Electronics Event” and also hinted that this promotional event would be the first of many promotional events this holiday season: “We know our customers are starting their holiday shopping now, and they are looking for consumer electronics gifts that the entire family can enjoy together.
