Trade Financing – CFAB Offers New Range Of Ex-Im Bank Financing
The Alaska Commercial Fishing and Agriculture Bank (CFAB) recently announced details of a partnership agreement it had signed with the Export-Import Bank of the United States (Ex-Im Bank), which is sure to pave the way for businesses throughout Alaska to improve their export sales. Commenting on this new partnership agreement, Lela Klingert, the President of CFAB, issued the following statement: “As Ex-Im Bank’s first Delegated Authority Lender headquartered in Alaska, CFAB can offer local companies a whole new set of Ex-Im Bank financing tools to help them compete in the global marketplace.”
This new partnership agreement between CFAB and the Ex-Im Bank gives businesses based in Alaska the opportunity to benefit from several financial products and services offered by the Ex-Im Bank that will be of immense benefit to them in terms of improving their export sales. These financial products and services include Working Capital Loan Guarantees, which will help small and medium-sized U.S. businesses fill foreign orders, Export Credit Insurance that will provide small and medium-sized U.S. businesses with protection against nonpayment by foreign buyers, as well as Loan Guarantees and Direct Loans that are designed to help foreign buyer with purchasing goods and services from U.S. based businesses.
